I love how my Grandma’s recipes are so intuitively written, but they can be a challenge for anyone who isn’t her 😉 It is such a simple recipe since you throw all the ingredients into a blender and pour in your pie shell. Doesn’t get much easier than that.
I made a few this past Easter and had to watch carefully. Grandma’s recipe card tells you everything in detail but I will add that for me, and my oven, “until center sets” was about 40 min. Just watch it carefully and pull it out when the center doesn’t jiggle. I also just added the cocoa to the melted butter. Whatever works for you. I will say once you make it you’ll understand that it’s worth the caution the first time to know how to do it in the future. Enjoy!
